Thank you for choosing the Sink-Away from D&W Inc. the easy-to-use indispensable camping tool. By following these simple installation and maintenance procedures, your Sink-Away will give you years of service and convenience.

1. INSTALLATION

A. The white mounting bar must be attached to the vehicle exterior. The mounting bar is shipped attached to the sink frame. Simply remove the packing material and slide out the mounting bar.

B. Locate the area on the exterior of the RV where the Sink-Away will be located and attach the white mounting bar. As many RV’s utilize a foam-core type wall, it is recommended that the mounting bar be attached to a stud or have a solid "backer" placed behind the wall. This will give the mounting screws a solid base. The mounting bar should be level and all four screw holes should be used to attach the mounting bar.

C. To install the Flexspout (if your unit has this option) simply screw the grey threaded base into the white PVC fitting on the top of the sink. Hand tighten only. We recommend removing the Flexspout for storage.

D. The Sink-Away metal sink frame may now be attached to the mounting bar. To do so, simply place the upper channel on the back of the Sink-Away metal frame at about a 45 degree angle in an upward position parallel to the mounting bar to start the “Locking In” process. Once the sink frame is in this position the Sink-Away may now be lowered to rest into the mounting bracket.

E. Sink-Away is now ready to provide an outdoor sink where it is most needed.

2. CLEANING - For routine cleaning use a liquid, non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth only

3. MAINTENANCE - To repair light scratches to your Sink-Away:

A. For minor blemishes-skip to Step E.

B. If scratches are less than 1/64″ deep-skip to step D.

C. Wet sand damaged surface with 600 and 1000 grit sandpaper in a circular motion.

D. Wet sand damaged surface starting with 1200 and 1500 grit sandpaper in a circular motion.

E. Buff the damaged surface with a clean cloth and some plastic polish until the scratches are removed GS27 or Novus#2 plastic polish is recommended to maintain the glossy finish.

F. Repeat as necessary.

WARNING!

Dry cleaning agents and solvents will damage the sink surface.
Do not allow burning cigarettes or hot materials such as hot pans or hot metal utensils to touch the sink surface until their temperature has cooled sufficiently.

The Sink-Away is designed to support not more than 15 pounds. Do not allow children to use the Sink-Away as a seat or step.
